Katherine Forbes-Smith, DNP, FNP-BC

Dr. Katherine Forbes-Smith is the Founder and President of The Well. She is also a family nurse practitioner, primary care provider, and owner at Bridgewater Pediatrics in Bridgewater, MA. Katherine began her clinical practice at Bridgewater Pediatrics in 2001 where she has cared for the primary and behavioral health care needs of thousands of children in Southeastern Massachusetts. She is a member of the Pediatric Physicians of Children’s (PPOC) medical group at Boston Children’s Hospital. She created and founded The Well, a Center for Hope and Healing as a way to give back to her community through the formation of a center for holistic integration building upon evidence-based practices that treat the whole person. She completed her undergraduate education at Gordon College, graduate training at Boston College, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Katherine is fully integrated into her community, having raised three daughters in Bridgewater and serving on several local community boards. Her passion is caring for bio-psycho-social-spiritual needs of children, adolescents and their families and considers it a gift to live in the community alongside the families that she serves.

Katherine and her husband, Karl love travelling, reading, skiing, and spending time with their friends and family all over the world.
